SWARM A.I. Components

The SWARM concept consists of individual robots or vehicles that have a common goal. The SWARM consists of:

• Network: Each individual must have the ability to communicate to each separate member of the swarm. This communication system must be fast, efficient, and redundant.
• Sensors: Each individual member must have sensory input so as to function as a contributing member. The more that each individual can contribute to the SWARM, the more intelligent it will become.
• Memory: The SWARM must be able to store all of its experiences so that it may reference new experiences to the old, so as to built correlations.
• The Brain: With all of the communication and information the must be something to tie it all together, and do something with it. The brain of the system takes all of the input, matches it to patterns and algorithms both programmed and learned, and through extensive analysis, converts the results to action.
